Age Groups for the 2017/18 Season

What age group should I register my child for?

It is important that players play at a level that is appropriate for their age and level of development, not just in terms of soccer skills but also in terms of physical, emotional and mental development. Playing "above" your regular age group is usually discouraged.

Other important notes about age groups:

- As defined by BC Soccer Rules, players cannot play BELOW their regular age group.
- The age cut-off date for BC Soccer is Dec 31st of the current year. Players cannot reach the age limit for the age group before that date.
- Approval from the club's Technical Directors is required for players wishing to play in an age group ABOVE their regular age group.
- Players playing U11 or higher need to be registered with VYSA and BC Soccer and will need to provide Proof of Age upon registration.
